Georgia: Entertainment Mecca?

I just read on Kotaku this morning that the governor of Georgia, Sonny Purdue, just signed the " Entertainment Industry Investment Act" this year. This law will allow entertainment companies, movies, gaming, etc, significant tax credits if they develop their work in Georgia.

"Qualifying productions spending at least $500,000 in the state will qualify for a 20% tax credit, with an additional 10% granted if said productions included an animated Georgia logo in the finished product." -Mike Fahey of Kotaku

This is really great to hear, especially since I am a lifetime Georgia resident who has always loved the entertainment industry, specifically, video games and movies. This really gives me a better chance at getting into the industry and I won't even have to leave the state to do so! I'm really excited! I hope the big companies take the bait and work their way over here.
